Actually, we released this version a week or so ago, so you may already have it:
* The version is reported at start-up, or you can see it at Help>About
* Get a new version by clicking Help>Check for Updates
What's in the new version:
ENHANCEMENTS
* Startup Help: The first time that you come into a
detail screen, PerfectJob will show you a help
window that details all of the parts of the screen.
Go to Tools>User Preferences and uncheck "Show help
on first use of each screen" if you don’t want to
see this. Once you have data in the screen, the
automatic pop-up will stop.
* Context Help: Added a help button on each detail
screen that will take you to detailed help for the
screen.
* Added automatic check for software updates:
PerfectJob will periodically go to the server to
check if any updates are available, and ask you if
you want to install them. Go to Tools>User Preferences
to set how often you want PerfectJob to check.
* Backup Reminders: PerfectJob will now remind you to
back up your database – go to Tools>User Preferences
to set how often you want to be reminded
* Date Reminders: We added preferences to support
reminders for activities. Functionality will come
in a future release.
* Mobile e-mail: We added a preference to input your
mobile alert e-mail. This will support future reminders
and notification functionality.
* Installation: Changed order so future updates to the
installer will not require users to update twice
in a row when the installer is changed.
BUG FIXES
* Improved the help access throughout the application.
* Added a vertical scroll bar to the Document Detail
screen multi-line fields.
* Fixed error when deleting records that were in the
navigation history.
* Corrected character translation in "Tip of the Day"
